City of San Jose “Storm GIS Data Improvement Project”

 

June 2009 to December 23, 2011

           

MRF was selected by City of San Jose in June 2009 to perform the following tasks:

 

·         Storm Data modeling and Oracle database design

·         Storm data spatial adjustment to agree with City’s orthophotos, parcels, road centerlines, etc.

·         Add backlog engineering plans into the Storm GIS database

·         Use Google Earth to verify the location of the storm assets.

·         Build a storm GIS website using ArcGIS Server Silverlight Light API to support the following capabilities:

o   WYSIWYG plotting and quarter panel plotting into PDF

o   Sanitary and Storm CCTV video viewing

o   Street address search

o   Street Intersection search

o   Detail map viewing

o   Storm asset error reporting

o   Bookmark

o   Red Lining

o   GIS data extraction into SHAPE, File Geodatabase, DWG, or KMZ files for the users to download.

 

By December 23, 2011, MRF has completed all the tasks except the Storm GIS website.
