MRF Polygon 1.0

MRF Polygon (MRFPoly) is a polygon formation software. It takes a cleaned two-dimensional drawing file as input and converts lines, polylines, and circular parametric arcs into regions.

MRFPoly can:

• Run on top of AutoCAD
• Allow unlimited nesting levels of islands
• Use circular parametric arcs without stroking
• Check one-to-one relationships between labels and formed polygons
• Polygonize only selected layers
• Flag error polygons for further editing.

The formed polygons are organized in such a way that no polygon will be hidden by others when they are pattern filled. Because error polygons are flagged, users can perform queued-editing of these errors using MRF Flag Editor. Polygons that have no label or more than one label will be set to the color the user specified for easier identification and editing.

MRFPoly is ideal for cadastral mapping, municipal, and resource management applications.
