Mapping and GIS Software Tools for AutoCAD

MRF NAD converts maps between NAD27 and NAD83 reference systems. It also converts maps from any 3TM or 6TM coordinate system to another 3TM or 6TM coordinate system. MRF NAD processes point, insert, line, polyline, arc, ellipse, texts, and region entities.

MRF NAD can:

• Run on top of AutoCAD either in batch or interactive mode
• Convert maps between the NAD27 and NAD83 reference systems
• Convert coordinates between any 3TM and 6TM coordinate systems
• Allow single point transformation using geographic coordinates (latitude, longitude)
• Allow single point transformation using TM coordinates (easting, northing)

MRF NAD’s transformation algorithm is based on the Ntv2 software published by Geomatics Canada in 1995. It is a very useful tool for NAD conversion and TM projection changes.
