MGTK for ArcGIS is Now
Available MRF Geosystems Corporation
(MRF) gladly announces the release of MRF GIS Tool Kit (MGTK) for ArcGIS. MGTK technology has been working on platforms
such as Bentley® MicroStation®, Autodesk® AutoCAD®,
Intergraph® GeoMedia®, Safe Software® FME®, and
ESRI® MapObjects™. More than 6000 users in over 40
countries are using MGTK under various platforms. ArcGIS from ESRI is a popular GIS package worldwide. MRF
is pleased to announce that it has migrated its MGTK
technology to work as an extension under ESRI’s ArcGIS. MGTK for ArcGIS
includes five modules: MRF Clean, MRF Flag Editor, MRF Polygon, MRF Overlay,
and MRF Buffer. MGTK for ArcGIS is a workflow
inspired, batch mode enabled GIS data error correction and geo-processing
package. MGTK provides ArcGIS users with valuable
add-on capabilities to correct vector data in less time and effort. MGTK for ArcGIS input data formats include: Shapfiles,
Personal Geodatabase, and File Geodatabase.
MRF Clean corrects problems
such as line overshoots and undershoots, duplicates, and gaps, and is unique
as it cleans and conflates multiple layers with multiple tolerances
simultaneously. This functionality will yield significant benefits in terms
of improved productivity for many ArcGIS users,
especially those who routinely correct GIS data or who wish to integrate and
conflate utility maps, parcel maps, topographic maps and resource maps. Also,
this capability has other benefits such as performing overlays without
